Robbie Williams

When Susie first moved to the Bay, she began creating artwork to raise money for a variety of charities.

She created this portrait of Robbie Williams, inspired by his Swing When You’re Winning album, after hearing that his flatmate, Jonathon Wilkes, was due to appear on the local radio station. As a fan of the classic crooners who inspired the album, she felt that Robbie was the perfect subject.

She worked day and night to complete the piece in time and took it to the radio station , where Jonathon photographed the portrait and immediately sent the images to Robbie. Robbie replied, saying that he loved it. Jonathon later said that he would ask Robbie to sign the portrait so that it could be auctioned in support of his chosen charity.
